The writing of this song changed the trajectory of Noel's pursuit as a singer songwriter.

Noel penned LEFT UNREAD in 2000 during an episode of second-guessing his continued pursuit of his musical ambitions. By the time he got to the chorus of the song, he changed his mind about quitting and decided to not give up no matter what gets thrown my way. That lyric inspired him to keep pursuing his musical dream. However, the following lyric that immediately followed the above line, inspired him to take things one step further. He instantly decided to write a book that tells the stories behind many of his songs. The following words were what inspired him, writing: I'll not end up like some book on a shelf … LEFT UNREAD.

The realization of the book finally came to fruition when he began writing his incredible story 22 years later in July of '22. He's now ready to introduce you to what is actually required of an artist who's determined to not give up chasing the dream, "no matter what gets thrown my way".
